"We are very pleased and honoured to have won and have received numerous messages of congratulations since the ceremony. This is a great accolade! "

Following continued uncertainty around Covid-19, we have taken the decision to make this year’s Offshore Achievement Awards a virtual event!

Hosted by SPE Aberdeen and supported by TAQA, the 34th annual OAAs will be held virtually at 6:00-8:00pm on Friday 14 August.

Rachel Riley will return as the host for the evening, taking part in a live Q&A as well as presenting the award winners across ten categories, including the new, highly anticipated ‘Energy Transition for Future Generations’ award. We will also welcome our special guest, NASA Astronaut, Bill McArthur.

The event will be free to attend thanks to the generous support from our sponsors and it will be broadcast via Zoom, via Youtube and a range of other media channels.

Details on how to watch the OAAs and an itinerary for the evening can be found here

Attendees are encouraged to dress up formally and have an enjoyable dinner whilst watching the event.

We have partnered up with some local bars and restaurants to offer our OAA guests some special treats! More information can be found here !

We will also have entertainment during the evening, a social media competition for the best-dressed diner, and a charitable collection for Hamish Dear’s Warm Hugs.

The SPE Aberdeen Offshore Achievement Awards (OAA), sponsored by TAQA, is the biggest and longest established oil, gas and renewables industry awards for the UK offshore energy sector, covering all aspects from supply to upstream operations and offshore renewables.
